In 1996, I picked up a type specimen book at the Chicago Printer’s Row book fair. The one typeface that intrigued me most was Gothic No. 60. The specimen page was not complete. As an assignment in graduate school, I drew the most distinct letters from each size to make a unified, digitized version of the face. The idiosyncracies in the typeface are a combination of the original metal face and my novice abilities. 2004.
