By his death in 2003, Emo Ziroli accumulated an important body of regional sculptures, fountains and tombstones. He was the last to hand-carve stone in the village of Montenero Val Cocchiara, Italy.
Letterforms varied not only over time, but due to the length of the name being carved. This is part of the Time Capsule of Montenero. Digital typeface drawn by Chester Jenkins and Jeremy Mickel and first cut in stone by Wake Monument Company in 2010.
